Around the floor, there's so much beautiful new paper. Lots of holiday papers, and I now can not wait to start my Christmas cards. I'm also very excited about Basic Grey's new fabric line (photos of that to come on the Sewing blog) and Claudine Hellmuth's new line of paints and mediums from Ranger.
Although I'm busy packing for my move at the end of the month, I wasn't too busy to make some handmade moving announcements. (OK, well, actually I probably was too busy to make my own announcements, but I did anyway. Curse this crafty gene of mine!) However, I did make the cards super simple. I found a paper from K&Co. that was really busy, which was perfect for cutting into four cards that were coordinated but different. I printed the label on the front and the interior info on my computer and glued it on. Simple indeed! Now, if only moving were that easy...
I hope the weather agrees and you fall in love with the island. If you can eat breakfast at the black dog, it's legendary. Don't worry about sharks the waters too cold for swimming. Have fun!
Thanks! I'm making a quilt for my wee sister as a housewarming gift - the same pattern, but using a Moda Blossom Jelly Roll for a cooler, more modern look. Plus I'm halfway through a different one for myself. I think I'm addicted to Jelly Rolls - eek!
Sounds like you are having an amazing time at CHA!
